Held in the city of Iquitos and, as part of its Citizen Participation activities, Perenco Peru launched the construction activities of Block 67 Project: its impact on national economic growth, environmental and logistical challenges, the development plan, as well as the social development plan is carefully studied with the input of local native communities.

The meeting was attended by the Regional President, Mr. Ivan Vasquez, the General Commander of Operations of the Amazon of Peru's Navy, Admiral Jorge Moscoso, the President of the Research Institute of the Peruvian Amazon, and representatives of the Regional Bureau of Energy and Mines and the National Service of Protected Natural Areas, among other local authorities.

After a roundtable discussion, the participants expressed their appreciation for being informed about the Block 67 Project activities and the consolidation of a space for communication.
